Autumn Affair Beneficiary Nominations
The Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation is excited to host the 2017 Autumn Affair at the Pearl Stable on October 19, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. This year, the Autumn Affair will celebrate the careers of pioneering women jurists from Bexar County. We are currently soliciting nominations for this year’s Autumn Affair beneficiary. If you know of a deserving local organization serving women or children that would like to apply to be this year’s beneficiary, please send the name and contact information to Laura Cauley at Laura_Cauley@txwd.uscourts.gov by February 24th.
Calling for Autumn Affair Volunteers!
The Bexar County Women’s Bar Foundation is already working hard to put together its task force to help with Autumn Affair this year, and we need YOU! Every year we put together specific committees to handle various aspects of the Autumn Affair. The committees include: Auction, Belva Lockwood, Decorations, Graphics, Historian, Honorees/Dignitaries, Kick Off Party, Publicity/Web Promotion, Set Up/Take Down, and Sponsorship. If you are interested in serving on one of these committees or just want more information on getting involved please contact Rachel Skinner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR 2016 DONORS, SPONSORS AND VOLUNTEERS!
Thanks to the hard work of our amazing members and the support of numerous sponsors and donors, Autumn Affair 2016 raised $44,000 for two local charities. The Children's Shelter and Deborah's House each received a gift of $22,000. We are confident these funds will be put to great use in our community to help those most in need.
We appreciate everything our membership does to serve the community and look forward to another successful year in 2017!
