Women attorneys selected for participation in the LEAD Academy will:
The Steering Committee has found the LEAD Academy curriculum to be applicable to women attorneys at many stages of their careers, and anyone with interest is encouraged to apply. The 2017 LEAD Academy class consisted of sixteen attorneys with two to fourteen years of practice. The selection committee may determine that a larger or smaller class is appropriate, depending on the strength of applications received.
Interested attorneys may simply apply. The selection committee will also accept nominations sent to Marissa Helm at firstname.lastname@example.org by October 20, 2017 and will notify nominees of their nomination.
A copy of application materials can be downloaded here. Whether self-applying or nominated, completed application materials, including letters of recommendation, must be submitted by Monday, October 30, 2017. The 2018 LEAD Academy class will be announced by December 4, 2017.
