Dear BCWB Members,

As we monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and follow the guidance of local, state, and national authorities, the health and safety of our members and our community remains our priority. At this time, BCWB will begin holding some in-person events.  We recommend all participants of an in-person event wear a mask or other face covering, except while eating, drinking, or seated at your table.  Masks will be available, if needed. We may take guest temperatures at the door.  Event sizes will be modified to reduce the number of individuals in a room; as such, please RSVP and/or purchase your ticket(s) in advance.  Finally, if you experience any COVID-19 symptoms prior to an in-person event, we ask that you not attend. We look forward to seeing everyone in a safe and conscientious manner.

The BCWB Board of Directors

This decision comes as the number of people testing positive for COVID-19 and the number of hospitalizations have increased and the positivity rate in Texas increased above 10%, which the Governor previously stated would lead to further preventative action. The targeted, measured directives in the executive order are based on links between certain types of businesses and services and the recent rise in positive cases throughout the state."
