As one of the leading bar organizations in the state of Texas, we are proud of our history and excited about our future. BCWB has a strong tradition of service to the community and of promoting equal justice under the law. Most importantly, we support Bexar County women attorneys, from varying backgrounds and practices, through education, networking, mentoring, and social support systems.

We continue our long history of service to and support of women attorneys as we welcome our second LEAD Academy class!  The LEAD Academy is a leadership-development program born out of a desire to assist women attorneys in attaining the highest level of success in their firms and organizations, in their communities, and in the legal profession.  Please visit our LEAD page for more information.

SAReads Donations!

Thank you to our BCWB members that donated books for SAReads at our December holiday luncheon.

COMMUNITY SERVICE: This year we are working on more community service opportunities for our members. Is this your niche? Lindsay Riley is heading up this committee and would welcome help and inspiration. You can email Lindsay at LRiley@dykema.com.

There is no modernity and no justice without the talent, the passion, and the steely intelligence of women.

- Toni Morrison
