Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative

DEI COMMITTEE AND MISSION STATEMENT

Bexar County Women’s Bar believes the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to our community, and inextricably linked with improving the status of women in the legal profession. We are a stronger, more effective organization when we welcome and learn from diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (“DEI”) is committed to promoting these values and opportunities throughout Bexar County Women’s Bar.

This Committee will (i) identify opportunities for organizational improvement, (ii) develop educational programs, (iii) promote accountability based on our core values, and (iv) support our organization and its existing processes to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in BCWB and our community.
