Call for Nominations for the Bexar County Women's Bar Association & Foundation Board of Directors

Planning is underway for 2025, and we are currently accepting nominations for candidates to fill positions on our Board of Directors. We are looking for candidates who want to serve this great organization and work alongside amazing women!

Candidates must be current BCWB members, but no board experience is necessary. We believe that diversity and inclusion in our leadership and programs are essential, as reflected in our DEI Committee Mission Statement below, and recognize that it is crucial for our Board to reflect a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives.

If you or someone you know is interested in being added to the slate, please submit your nomination, including name and email address, to BCWB President-Elect Hayley Ellison at Hayley.ellison@gmail.com.

Nominations will close at noon on Monday, October 14, 2024.

DEI Committee Mission Statement Bexar County Women’s Bar believes the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to our community, and inextricably linked with improving the status of women in the legal profession. We are a stronger, more effective organization when we welcome and learn from diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (“DEI”) is committed to promoting these values and opportunities throughout Bexar County Women’s Bar.
